Extendicare Peterborough

The Family and Friends Council consists of a volunteer group of family and friends of the residents of Extendicare Peterborough. We strive to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and healthy long-term care environment that benefits all residents and their families. We share experiences and ideas, advocate for positive change, communicate and problem solve with home management and staff and provide support to resident families and friends. nnOur organization operates under the statutes outlined in Ontario’s Fixing Long-Term Care Act (2021) with guidance from Family Councils of Ontario. nnNew members are always welcome. nContact us: nffc.ptboextendicare@gmail.comnnMeetings monthly – currently via Zoom. nMembers are welcome to participate as often as they are able. nn
