Almonte Country Haven

Residents are at the heart of the Almonte Country Haven Family Council. The members of the Almonte Country Haven Family Council are working together to improve the quality of life and quality of care for all residents at Almonte Country Haven. We do this through Support, Advocacy, Teamwork, Communication and Education. Our work is guided by the Long term Care Homes Act of Ontario and our terms of reference. We are powered by feedback from families, friends and residents. We are motivated to protect and care for our loved ones and by our own unique skills and interests. We are supported by each other, Family Councils of Ontario, The Champlain Region Family Council Network by the administration at the home and by our community. We are grounded in respect, trust, openness, fairness and confidentiality. Meetings are held monthly.
